Barons Hold Off Lake Wampaug in 4-3 Home Opener Victory

MURRAYFIELD-G.H."Doc" Henderson gave up three runs over four innings an went 1-2 with a home run and a walk as the Murrayfield & Grant Red Barons held off Lake Wampaug at Opening Day in Murrayfield Park.
Harley Lyttelton went four-for-four with two triples.The Murrayifield & Grant fans were hesitant-but-hopeful prior to the game, as sources noted Lake Wamapug had a strong batting average. An impressive eighth inning put the M&G faithful in faveror, as Kinskey Avery Ellington drove home the ultimate winning run.
